I Hate Being Sick!

Oh great the flu shot doesn't work! My daughter got it first and then my wife and now me.
I have a commission ready to start as soon as Eddie finishes up the build part which he ran
into problems with the sprues with molding process was warped with the assault jump pack
and also with the Rhino.

But after clamping and filling he got it looking good again. I will have the fun part of soon
as he drops it off today. And since my studio is in my garage it's pretty cold in there lately.
I will have to use my portable heater for a hour before starting my painting.
Well hope you guys stay well and don't run into some flu plague marines.

Happy Painting!

  1. Blessed by Papa Nurgle himself... I had a flu bug at the start of the year. Hope you fell better soon and get some more of your Dark Angel work done!

    1. Siph_Horridus thanks man. Yeah this flu year is pretty bad. I caught it fairly quick. As for my beloved DA yeah gotta get started soon. I also booked two commissions in and I will squeeze my babies in between drying times lol!

  2. Having a flu is such a drag, especially when you have physical tasks that need to be done. I hope you were able to recover right away! Catching flu is almost unavoidable when a family member is infected and doesn't get isolated 'til cured. But isolation would be impossible since you have to take care of your family. The best thing to do is to call or visit a doctor for help. Trusted doctors know best what treatment to give your family.

  3. I hate being down with the flu. The only good thing that comes out of it is that I suddenly have time to catch up on my reading or watch my series backlogs. So were you able to paint despite having it, or were you too sick to move around much? You might’ve caught one that was a new strain. There’s always that risk when dealing with the cold; a new strain can develop every so often that renders previous vaccinations ineffective.
